Some Flowers and Stuff

Hey Guys! Sorry I have been away soooo long. I have been spending time with my Gramama. Having a blast! I hope y'all are doing well. I wanted to share a few things I picked up at the store on a shopping trip and some flowers I made using the Cricut Flower Shoppe cartridge. Enjoy!

Sizzix Vintaj Big Kick Tutorial

Hey Everyone! I am sorry I am posting this a little late. I wanted to share with y'all a tutorial for the Sizzix Vintaj Big Kick. This is the way I make my sandwiches for this machine. Every machine is slightly different so a little fine tuning on your part might be required but this tutorial is a great jumping off point. Cutting Sandwich for Cutting Spellbinders Dies
(layered from bottom to top)
Solo Platform
Solo Shim
Cuttlebug C Plate
Spellbinders Die (make sure cutting surface is face up)
Paper/Cardstock 
Cuttlebug B Plate or Acrylic Cutting Pad that came with Big Kick

Embossing Sandwich for Embossing Spellbinders Dies

Spellbinders die with cut out in it, facing up
2 Spell binders Enlarged Tan Embossing Pads
3 pieces of cardstock 5.5in x 8.5in used as shims

Gift Bag Tutorial

Hi Internet Land! I hope everything is going fabulous! I wanted to share a tutorial with y'all. This is a gift bag template I made. I hope you like. Written Instructions:

1) Gather all neccessary materials needed. (listed at bottom of post)
2) Take 12 x 12 paper place on M.S. scoreboard and score at 7 5/8in and 11 in
3) Turn paper clockwise once and score at 2 in
4) Take second 12 x 12 paper and repeat steps 2 and 3
5) Take both sheets fold and reinforce score lines
6) Place both sheets side by side identical with 2 in score line horizontal on the bottom
7) On left paper put adhesive along 1 in ledge
8) Take right paper and overlap till you meet 11 in score line
9) Now you have one long sheet, flip paper over keeping 2 in score line horizontal on the bottom
10) Fold over 1 in ledge paper and put adhesive
11) Take right paper and overlap till you meet 11 in score line
12) On the base of the bag where the 2 in score lines are you are going to fold the corner up making a 90 degree matching the score lines up. (if you are confused by this step click on video and skip to 9:10)
13) Do this on all 4 corners.
14) Apply adhesive on one side on the triangle corners only. Fold up. Then fold up side with no adhesive.
15) Place on base and put your hand in bag and push down to apply corners
16) Now apply adhesive to other side on triangle corners and 1/2 in on edge. Fold up.
17) Place on base and put your hand in bag and push down to apply flap.
18) Now for handles take one 2 x 5.50 cardstock and apply glue gun 1 in from each side and place paper twist on top.
19) Hold paper twist down.
20) Apply glue gun on top of paper twist and all around cardstock.
21) Place other 2 x 5.50 cardstock on top.
22) Press firmly.
23) Repeat steps 18-22 for other handle
24) Now take one completed handle and apply glue to the back of cardstock and place on inside of bag.
25) Press firmly.
26) Repeat steps 24-25
27) Place 7 5/8 x 3 5/16 cardstock inside bag flush against base and voila!
28) Completed gift bag!

Scoring Tool
x2 Paper- 12in x 12in sheets
x4 Cardstock- 2in x 5.5in
Cardstock- 7 5/8in x 3 5/16in
x2 Paper Twist- 12in
Elmers Glue Stick
Glue Gun and extra glue sticks for gun

Easter Box Tutorial

Hey Everyone! I hope y'all are doing good. I made this box tutorial for Darla G, one of my subbies on YouTube. This is a tutorial for 2 different sized boxes using my Martha Stewart Score Board.
